The new QIAcuity Digital PCR System by QIAGEN was installed at JETA Molecular on April 14, 2021. JETA Molecular will perform various tests using the instrument, including accurate quantification of alleles present between 0.1-0.01% or chimerism quantification using all 5 color channels (green, yellow, orange, red and crimson).

After being rescheduled due to the covid-19 pandemic, EFI 2021 will take place fully virtually from Wednesday 21st April to Friday 23rd April 2021.

Heavy snowfall and frost have hit the Netherlands hard, leading to traffic disruption in the whole country. Fortunately, we were not caught unprepared ❄❄❄

With the aim to develop a robust and sensitive system for genotyping of DNA samples using the increasingly popular digital PCR (dPCR) method, we have recently successfully employed a multiplex approach to combine multiple targets in one dPCR reaction.
